PE & PTFE series pumps
Technical specifications
- Max. performance: 820 l/min
- Max. discharge pressure: 8 bar
- Material: PE or PTFE
- ATEX
Tapflo pumps, made of polyethylene (PE) or Teflon (PTFE), can pump almost all types of liquids, including: high viscosity, chemically aggressive, with solid particles.
Polyethylene (PE) Pumps
Polyethylene (PE HD) has high wear resistance, 6-7 times better than polypropylene (PP). This allows the pumps to be used when pumping highly abrasive suspensions. Polyethylene is resistant to the effects of most chemically aggressive liquids, such as the strongest acids and alkalis. The maximum temperature of the pumped liquid is +70°C.
Teflon (PTFE) pumps
PTFE (pure polytetrafluoroethylene) is a thermoplastic polymer with high chemical resistance. Pumps made of this material can pump even more aggressive substances than PE pumps, such as concentrated nitric acid. The maximum temperature of the pumped liquid is up to + 100°C.
